I created the “Travellers’ Tales” section to give my readers and other travellers an opportunity to talk about their travels. Today I would like to introduce you to Cory Varga , a travel blogger based in United Kingdom. Visit her blog at “You Could Travel”.
I would love to hear about your travels too. Go to “Travellers’ Tales” , fill in the quick questionnaire and email it to me with your blog links.
I am Cory, a photographer and travel writer for "You Could Travel", a blog geared towards soft adventure seekers and photography lovers. I started travelling in 2013 with my husband, and together we created a digital studio in order to afford to fuel our passion for travels. In 2016, we created our blog, where we document our adventures from all around the world.
I remember when I was (around) 4 years old, how I was trying to count trees I was passing while in the car. My grandfather was driving this Ford Escort (which I loved) and telling stories about the mountains. We were on our way to a remote place in the Romanian mountains, where we used to hike and picnic. I still remembered how mesmerised I was by the landscape.
I went to the Seychelles for 3 weeks.
Swimming with fish and sting rays. It was also the first time I dived.
I loved Japan the most, with Tokyo being my favourite city in the world. I loved it because it managed to exceed my expectations for the first time. I also have an emotional attachment to Japan as I used to read tales about this country ever since I was a little girl. To top it all up, my husband proposed whilst in Japan. Hard not to love the country.
Tokyo, Japan. No doubt about it.
Eat as much as humanly possible. Immerse yourself in the culture. Take photographs. Take the subway. Be awesome.
My husband. We never travel without each other.
My camera. I would never leave the house without it.
Plan your itinerary carefully. Read everything you can about a destination. Make sure you know everything about everything BEFORE you arrive. Once you are there, ditch the plans and freestyle. All your research will enable you to stay safe and know what you are doing, whilst going off the beaten path and discovering the best for yourself.
Oh, this is so clichéd, but I need to at least be at the Everest base camp. It’s all I’m asking for!
Check out my adventures on “You Could Travel”.
Thank you, Cory, for sharing your fascinating travels with us!
I would love to hear about your travels too. Go to “Travellers’ Tales”, fill in the quick questionnaire and email it to me with your blog links.
