I created the “Travellers’ Tales” section to give other travellers an opportunity to talk about their travels. Today I would like to introduce you to Gabby , a travel blogger based in Virginia. She blogs at Packs Light.
I would love to hear about your travels too. Go to “Travellers’ Tales” , fill in the quick questionnaire and email it to me with your blog links.
Read about Gabby ’s travels here,
1. Tell us a bit about yourself.
Hey there! My name is Gabby and I’m a 21 year old student living in Virginia (at the moment). I have traveled to 25 countries, and spent the last year of my life in Dubai, UAE.
2. What is your earliest travel memory?
My earliest travel memory would have to be my trip to Paris with my family at age 4. I clearly remember the long elevator ride up, and my sister screaming her head off at the back of the elevator!
3. Where was your last holiday?
I just came back from a weekend trip to Boston with my mom. It was great! Loved the bisque, hehe.
4. What was the best thing you did there?
Seeing Wicked—it was my first professional play, and I was obsessed. Such amazing singing!
5. What was your best holiday ever? Why?
Likely going to Australia for 2 weeks. A friend and I landed in Sydney, did New Years Eve under the Sydney Harbor bridge, and then drove through Brisbane, and Airlie Beach to Cairns where we snorkeled the Great Barrier Reef and SKYDIVED! Can’t beat that.
6. What is your favourite travel destination?
Probably Stockholm, Sweden.
7. What is the one thing one must do there?
Eat traditional Swedish meatballs in Gamla Stan outdoors. Sigh.
8. Who is your favourite travel companion/s?
I love travelling solo, but otherwise I would say my friends!
9. Name one item you must have when travelling.
Go Pro Hero 4! A must have.
10. Your best travel advice?
Go where you’re scared to go, you’ll likely be surprised.
11. The one place you want to visit before you die?
12. How can people contact you?
Thank you, Gabby, for sharing your fascinating travels with us!
I would love to hear about your travels too. Go to “Travellers’ Tales”, fill in the quick questionnaire and email it to me with your blog links.
