Most international visitors fly into O.R. Tambo Airport in Johannesburg. From the airport, one can rent a car and begin the drive to the park. But the drive can be quite tiresome with the road trip taking around 10 hours. It is easier to book connecting flights from OR Tambo Airport to Port Elizabeth Airport with an airline like Flysafair Airlines, and rent a car from there.

    Mvubu is in the Kabouga section. Though remote and scenic and a great off-grid destination, there are no elephants or other big five in that section (except maybe errant leopard). You'll see maybe baboon, monkeys, warthog, buck... and you can fish on the Sundays River adjacent to the campsite. We did an episode on it. For game viewing, best to drive back to Addo main section.
