Tanzania is known for its landscapes, its wildlife, and its protected parks. It is a country that one must visit at least once in their lifetime because it is truly a life changing and unforgettable experience. From being home to some of the greatest wildlife that has fascinated and amazed generations of people, like lions, elephants, rhinos, and more, to having diverse landmarks like Kilimanjaro and the second-deepest lake in the entire world, there are many ways to have an adventure in Tanzania. It is the perfect destination no matter what kind of traveller you are – solo, as a couple, group, or family!
There aren't many better things to do in the world than to go on a safari, especially in Tanzania. You can see the big five: elephants, buffalo, rhinos, lions, and leopards, as well as many other beautiful events such as the great wildebeest migration or a giant nesting ground of flamingos in Lake Natron. You will want to go with an experienced guide, or preferably with a tour group that will be open to new itineraries for your best safari adventure.
You have a choice of visiting any number of their beautiful national parks, from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the Serengeti, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Selous Game Reserve, Lake Victoria, Ruaha National Park. With so many wondrous landscapes to choose from, you’re good to go no matter the time of year!
Tanzania is home to Africa’s tallest mountain. Although you have to go with a guide, the experience is unforgettable. Climb the tallest freestanding mountain (meaning that it stands by itself, rather than in a mountain range) and sleep in the crater under the dazzling milky way.
