I created the “Travellers’ Tales” section to give other travellers an opportunity to talk about their travels. Today I would like to introduce you to Magda, a travel blogger based in Germany. She blogs at Follow The View .
I would love to hear about your travels too. Go to “Travellers’ Tales” , fill in the quick questionnaire and email it to me with your blog links.
Hi! I’m Magda, one of two adventurous spirits behind Follow The View blog, which I create together with my husband Michal. We are a Polish couple, currently based in Germany, trying to get the most out of 30 days of vacation and countless Bavarian holidays to pursue our greatest passion, exploring the world.
I remember going to the Baltic Sea shore with my parents in a super tiny Fiat 126p. The whole trip took about 8 hours and was totally uncomfortable, but no one really cared - we were so excited!
I spent my last holidays exploring one of the most amazing countries in the world - New Zealand.
Rafting in Waitomo Caves! We were floating in the dark cave while admiring glow worms on the walls. It looked like the Milky Way!
Our holidays in Santorini two years ago, during which we got married! Destination wedding, holidays and honeymoon - all in one.
Greece - so many amazing islands to explore, laid-back atmosphere and delicious (and cheap!) wine.
Go beyond the most popular spots like Crete, Zakhyntos or Mykonos and explore these less crowded islands. You will have an opportunity to experience the true Greek culture and hospitality.
My husband Michal, who is really amazing - not complaining and always eager to explore!
My camera of course, with at least 2 different lenses.
Skip these touristy places you have seen 1000 times in the Internet - go off the beaten path and discover true gems on your own. What a satisfaction!
I really want to stay in the overwater bungalows in the Maldives - being surrounded by the ultimate luxury, turquoise water and hundreds of colorful fish!
Definitely Kruger Park - it was my first encounter with Big Five, which makes it one of my best travel memories in life. Seeing a baby-rhino with his mum was the cutest experience ever!
