1. Tell us a bit about yourself.

I am an enthusiastic Camper and Hiker.  Lover of nature and all things associated with the great outdoors.  Founder of the global website “Camping for Women”.  Also, a competitive dragonboat paddler who has competed in local and international events.

2. What is your earliest travel memory?

Traveling to my grandparents home (about 2 hours away by car) in a small remote town each holiday period.

3. Where was your last holiday?

A cruise from Australia to South America and then spending time in Chile exploring the Andres Mountains and visiting Easter Island.

4. What was the best thing you did there?

I got engaged to my partner – he proposed while we were visiting Tahiti.

5. What was your best holiday ever? Why?

This past one is the best because I got engaged and we had such a great time together.

6. What is your favourite travel destination?

South East Asia – I really liked both Vietnam and Thailand.

7. What must one do there?

Explore nature, interact with the locals, enjoy new cuisine and learn about the culture.

8. Who is your favourite travel companion/s?

My fiancé and my best friend

9. Name one item you must have when travelling.

Camera!

10. Your best travel advice?

The more research you do before you go, the better the experience you are likely to have.

11. The one place you want to visit before you die?

Kruger National Park
