I created the “Travellers’ Tales” section to give other travellers an opportunity to talk about their travels. Today I would like to introduce you to Hayley , a travel blogger from Cape Town, South Africa. She blogs at MS Blissness .
I would love to hear about your travels too. Go to “Travellers’ Tales” , fill in the quick questionnaire and email it to me with your blog links.
I am a 20-something South African girl currently roaming the world with my boyfriend. I’m working as a freelance writer while pursuing my dreams of travelling this beautiful planet that we call home.
My parents have actually been travelling with me since very early on. They did a 3 month European tour with me before I had even turned two - obviously I don’t remember.....sigh. But when I was about six they took my brother and I to Disney World in Orlando. It’s one of my fondest memories.
The Kruger National Park in South Africa - I’m back home for a few months.
The Wilderness Trail - it’s a 3 night guided trail through the park. If you a Nature/Bush lover you will love it!
Greece!! Well Greece itself is just beautiful. But we had just left home and moved over to London and not long after that we took a trip to Greece for a family wedding. My parents and brother flew out from South Africa to meet up and it was one of the most treasured times that we’ve all shared together.
This one is really difficult! I don’t like choosing a favourite but if I had to, I would say Greece. There’s just something magical about it.
Visit Sifnos island. Everyone goes to Santorini, Mykonos, Corfu, etc - all the well known islands. But Sifnos is a tiny island in the Cyclades that has a personality of its own. The best part is, it’s not half as crowded, because no one knows about it. It’s so tranquil and peaceful.
My boyfriend- obviously 🙂 We are on this journey together!
Go-Pro! How else will we capture all those priceless memories?
Just do it!! If you wait until you ready, you will be waiting for the rest of your life. There’s always going to be an excuse why not to do it. You just need to forget about the why nots and GO!
Hawaii, Bora Bora, Fiji.....I have a few 🙂
I love this question since I am South African 🙂 My favourite place is the Garden Route!! grew up going there on family holidays and it will always have a special place in my heart! It’s also such a beautiful part of the country.
Thank you, Hayley, for sharing your fascinating adventures with us!
