A reverse bucket list is a great way to express gratitude and appreciation for the opportunities you've had, and reflect on the things you've done already. It is easy to think about what you still want to achieve but sometimes it's important to look back on the things that you have done and be grateful for the opportunities you have had.
A reverse bucket list is a concept that involves making a list of accomplishments, experiences, and achievements that you have already completed in your life, rather than listing things you want to do in the future (which is typical of a traditional bucket list). It's a way to reflect on and appreciate the meaningful and fulfilling experiences you've had, whether big or small, and to take stock of what you've already accomplished.
Creating a reverse bucket list can be a positive and gratitude-inducing exercise, as it allows you to recognize and celebrate your past successes and adventures. It can also serve as a reminder of the goals you've achieved and the obstacles you've overcome, providing a sense of fulfillment and motivation for future endeavors.
I drew up my bucket list of things I want to do and decided to balance it out with my reverse bucket list -a list of bucket list items that I've had the opportunity to achieve already. Although some of these were before I started blogging so I haven't written about them.
Please do tag me in your reverse bucket list.

That's a great list Sara and a great thing to do. I have almost done similar but for different reasons, some reorganisation at home has guided me to sorting through some old photographs from long-ago travel days which in turn has led me to a greater appreciation of the opportunities which arose and the subtle ways in which they shaped who I am today !
Hiya! Amazing blog! I happen to be a day-to-day visitor to your website (somewhat a lot more like addict ) of this site. Just wanted to say I appreciate your blogs and am searching forward for more!
wow amazing places you have visited girl.
Thanks hun! I live to travel 🙂
This is a cute idea- kind of like practicing gratitude. I am guilty of worrying too much about the future and not acknowledging all the good things I have done/am doing in my life. And the photos are marvelous of course. 🙂
love this! such a great idea 🙂
Thanks Felicia 🙂
This is such a cool idea, I might try and do this for myself as well 🙂 Would love to walk on the Great Wall f China, that's still on my bucket list 🙂
Thank you Doro. The Great Wall of China is totally fascinating!
You are so adventurous! Some of the things here I'd love to do but not others such as going in a hot air balloon and the helicopter. Oh I like my feet on firm ground! 🙂
Thanks Jameela. I love the air but not the water (unless I'm on a boat), so I wouldn't do things like snorkelling and diving 🙂
This is such a cute idea! My reverse list is almost identical to yours, just haven't been to India or in a hot air balloon.
Thanks Liya. That's awesome. I keep on remembering things to add on to the list though.
I love this! I have always wanted to do a list of things that I've done that I'm so proud of. This is exactly the inspiration I needed! Amazing list you've got here.
Thanks Jonelle. Yes, sometimes it's a good idea to focus on our achievements instead of that never-ending list of things we still want to do.
OMG epic adventures Sara!! love the photo journal
Thanks Enricoh. You know I live to travel 🙂
That's a great idea! Sometimes we're so busy planning ahead for future holidays that we forget to stop and look back at what we have done/seen.
Thanks Natalie. I must admit -I got the idea from some of the other bloggers.
